# Stonearc > Biological weights as a first-class object: a FlyWire tensor occupies an LLM and may act only through this animal’s named descending neurons, onto a physics body. - Site: https://stonearc.ai/ - Studio (client work): https://stonearc.ai/studio - Contact: hello@stonearc.ai ## What this is A public architecture exhibit. Language tokens run through a 28M language model whose 16 MLP matrices carry 15,091,983 FlyWire v783 edges. The only motor API is a named 934-D descending-neuron panel. That panel steps a NeuroMechFly body (MuJoCo-WASM) in the browser. This is SOTA-narrow for that *composition*. It is not robot-SOTA, not a full 138k spiking brain in the tab, and not a general adapter for any AI or any body. ## What the live tab is (do not confuse with the offline gate) - Tab model: `implant-28m-v2` (`flybrain.onnx`, sha256 `b2e1d1ffce94f1fe50ba4292bcf9dac89fc455b55b177d1242607cf85d2e415f`) - Verdict on this pack (gate p45, command `food`): `command_codec` - Glow on the brain canvas: `|W·x|` on FlyWire coordinates, not live LIF spikes - FOOD is a word→panel codec, not odor taxis - FLY / VOLAR is a pre-bound descending flight program, not one of the four learned words (left / right / food / stop) - p46 inhabitant (`models/implant-28m-p46b`) is offline. Do not claim the tab is that checkpoint. ## Offline inhabitant (gate p46, weber=0, command null) Same body, same 934-D head, degree-preserving rewired pack + original TinyStories MLPs as controls. - fly approach 5.688 mm; rewired 0.090 mm; original 0.054 mm - taxis_geo 21.2 vs 5.8 vs 0.0 Hz - `verdict: inhabitant` only for the connectome pack LEFT in the plume is not inhabitant. A learned decoder that walks another body is a sphinx, not inhabitation (Brunton / Tuthill 2026; this repo gate p44 `general_interface: false`). ## Neighbors (2024–2026) - FlyGM (Jin et al., 2026, arXiv:2602.17997) — FlyWire as a GNN policy, no LLM - Lappalainen et al., Nature 2024 — connectome-constrained vision - Shiu et al., Nature 2024 — whole-brain LIF; shuffle kills sugar→MN9 - Dorkenwald et al., Nature 2024 — FlyWire (~139k neurons) - NeuroMechFly v2 / FlyGym (Wang-Chen / Ramdya) - EMBER (2026, arXiv:2604.12167) — LLM + learned SNN, no FlyWire - Digital sphinx (Brunton / Tuthill 2026) — worm graph + learned decoder is not biology ## Files for machines - https://stonearc.ai/ — exhibit (HTML) - https://stonearc.ai/studio — consultancy snapshot - https://stonearc.ai/og.jpg — Open Graph still - https://stonearc.ai/og.svg — vector card - https://stonearc.ai/mark.svg — wordmark - https://stonearc.ai/sitemap.xml - Do not fetch `/flybrain.onnx` or `/vendor/` unless you are running the exhibit.
